After first rough sanding on the panels, the low spots will show up. Turn piece over and bouge the piece, hammering out the spots to level it out. Resand to even finish and use finer abrasives to bring a luster to the surface. The pieces should be a consistant fine grain.

Add bolts as each hole is made. This will pull the panels into position as
you proceed. Clamp panels with vice grips, use scrap piece of copper to protect the finish. Match drill the panels for the rivets.

Bolt the helm together with #6 bolts. Shape the nasal over the anvil. Check over all fit, form and function.

Wet sand with 320, 400 and 600 before going to the buffers.

Buff pieces with red and green rouge.
